Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of 9x.dev and the ways you can contact us through it. Paid engagements are covered by a separate agreement, which takes precedence where the two differ.

Effective 15 September 2026
01

Who we are

This website, 9x.dev, is operated by 9x Dev ("9x Dev", "we", "us"). Where these terms say "you", they mean anyone who visits this website or contacts us through it.

02

Using this website

You may browse 9x.dev, read our case studies and get in touch through the contact form for your own business purposes. You agree not to:

  • copy, scrape or republish the content of this site other than short excerpts with attribution and a link back;
  • interfere with the site, its hosting or any of its services, or attempt to gain access to areas not intended for you;
  • use the contact form to send unsolicited marketing, malicious content or anything unlawful;
  • misrepresent who you are or who you work for when you contact us.

We may suspend or restrict access to the site for anyone who breaches these terms.

03

Proposals and engagements

Nothing on this site is an offer to provide services. Estimates, timelines and pricing described here or in a proposal are indicative until both parties sign a Master Services Agreement and a Statement of Work. Those documents govern every paid engagement; if they conflict with these terms, they win.

Replying to a contact-form message, joining a call or sharing a proposal does not create a contract or an obligation for either party to proceed.

04

Intellectual property

The 9x Dev name, logo, site design, text, illustrations and code are owned by us or licensed to us. You may not use them without written permission, other than as allowed under "Using this website" above.

Ownership of software and other deliverables produced during an engagement is set out in the relevant Statement of Work. Our default position is simple: once paid for, client deliverables belong to the client.

05

Case studies and confidentiality

Our case studies describe real work. Where a client has asked for confidentiality, names, figures and identifying detail have been changed or removed, and any resemblance to a named third party is unintended.

If you share confidential information with us before an NDA is in place, we will treat it with reasonable care, but the protection you should rely on is the NDA. Ask for one and we will send it the same day.

06

Contact form and submissions

Anything you send through the contact form is used to reply to you and, if it leads somewhere, to prepare a proposal. Please do not send passwords, access keys, payment details or personal data about third parties through the form. How we handle the information you do send is described in our Privacy Policy.

07

Third-party links and services

The site links to services we do not control, including LinkedIn and the tools we mention in case studies. We are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.

08

Disclaimers

The site is provided "as is". We work to keep it accurate and available but we do not promise that it will be error-free, uninterrupted or that its content is complete or current. Nothing on this site is legal, financial or professional advice; case-study outcomes describe specific engagements and are not a guarantee of results for yours.

09

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Liability for paid work is dealt with in the Master Services Agreement, not here.

10

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of the page tells you when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms; if you do not, please stop using the site.

11

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which 9x Dev is established. Any dispute relating to this website will be dealt with by the courts of that country, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer rights you may have where you live.

12
