AI Transformation Consultant

01

About the role

Plenty of companies have bought AI tools and seen nothing change. The tools were never the hard part: the hard part is workflows, incentives, training and the manager who forbids it. You'd work on that.

This is consulting with substance behind it: you assess where AI would pay, design the change, run the pilots with our engineers, and measure what happened. Then you help the client's own people carry it on.

We run on these tools ourselves, so you're describing how we already work, not a theory. That's the difference between advice and a slide deck.

02

What you'll do

  • Assess without flattery. Where the time goes in a client's operation, and which parts AI can change.
  • Design the change. Workflows, roles, training and the governance that keeps it safe and legal.
  • Run real pilots. With our engineers, on real work, measured against the before state.
  • Build their capability. Train their people so the change survives our departure.
  • Report what happened. Including the pilots that failed and what that taught everyone.
03

What we look for

  • Five Years in Consulting or Transformation Work: with change that outlived the engagement.
  • Process Mapping: current state, cycle times, and the handoffs where the work stalls.
  • Business Case Building: baseline, benefit, cost and payback, in a model a finance director can challenge line by line.
  • Pilot to Production: moving something past the enthusiastic pilot into daily use by people who didn't volunteer.
  • Operating Model Design: roles, ownership and governance for AI once the consultants have gone home.
  • Training and Enablement: sessions and materials that leave staff able to work without a hotline.
  • Policy and Risk Frameworks: acceptable use, data handling and an approval path, written for their regulator.
  • Vendor Assessment: comparing platforms on evidence rather than on a demo and a discount.
  • AI Literate in Practice: you have implemented AI in a business setting, not only advised on it.
  • Process Analyst: you can measure a workflow before and after and defend the numbers.
  • Change Manager: you know resistance is information, and you work with it instead of around it.
  • Executive Communicator: board-level clarity without either hype or hedging.
  • Fluent English, Written and Spoken: most of our work happens in a written thread or on a call, and both have to be clear. Arabic is a genuine advantage across the region.
  • AI in the Loop: your own working week is visibly AI-assisted, and you can show a client how.
04

Personal traits

  • Skeptical of hype: you have seen enough pilots that went nowhere to be careful.
  • Persuasive without pressure: you bring people along instead of mandating from a slide.
  • Practical: you'd rather change one workflow properly than announce a strategy.
05

Nice to have

  • Sector depth in finance, logistics, healthcare or government.
  • Arabic alongside English for client work across the region.
  • Experience with AI governance frameworks and what they cost in practice.
06

Why you'd like it here

  • Remote across MENA. Work from wherever you are in the region, with hours built around your team's overlap rather than someone's attendance spreadsheet.
  • Work that ships. Products go live in weeks, not quarters. When someone asks what you have been building, you can open it on your phone and show them.
  • Small teams, no ticket queue. Four to eight people carry a product from the first client call to handover. Nobody hands you a spec and disappears.
  • Kit and tools you choose. A budget for your setup, and for the editor, licenses and services that make you fast. No three-week procurement saga.
  • A learning budget with time attached. Money for the course or the conference, plus room in the week to use it. The second half is the part most places skip.
  • Client contact from day one. You sit in the room where the decisions get made. Plenty of engineers wait a decade for that seat.
  • Time off people take, and no timesheets. We measure engagements, not humans in fifteen-minute increments. Book the holiday, go, come back.
